Colorado River Watershed Analysis
Near Zion National Park, Utah
Samantha Dabney was part of the design team at StempleForm Architects for this project.
We provided rural municipalities and conservation groups with meaningful watershed data, on-the-ground analysis and design recommendations necessary for strategic land use decision making. As a small group, we waded 40 miles through 16 watersheds of the Virgin River, a tributary to the Colorado River.
Pairing this on-the-ground data with GIS mapping, we analyzed the results in the context of development. We were able to make practical and specific recommendations for future planning and design.
Clients: Packard Foundation and Zion Corridor municipalities through Form Tomorrow.
